The "saffron"red accent wall has been strategically and sensitively selected to draw distant views. Red, therefore becomes the primary marker for orientation. The relationship between exterior and interior is further highlighted through textural walls, warm timbers and the wash of natural light. To imagine this project without colour is both visually delighted as it is psychologially engaging, therefore highly commended by the judges.
