....Designing separate projects for two related clients on the same site is a situation most architect would have found challenging. This is happily resolved through the clever use of colour as a common denominator in the dialogue between two distinctly different buildings. It is an ingenious device for ameliorating differences in quality of materials and finishes arising from a disparity in the clients' budgets.

Contrasting geometry is brought together by colour to work in unison. Visual cross-referencing through selective accentuation of architectural forms using a shared colour palette engages both the architectural styles while retaining individual identity for each building. The clients' receptive response to use of colour as a bridging entity contributes largely to the successful integration of two architectural statements into a cohesive whole.
