We have officially released IntelliCAD 6.4!
IntelliCAD 6.4 uses the latest advances in the Open Design Alliance DWGdirect libraries, based on the industry standard OpenDWG, which is widely supported by commercial software vendors, and the engineering community. In other words, this latest version reads and writes the latest DWG 2007 files.
We have also included Hitachi's Raster Image Enabler so you can handle bitmap images better. While most people use IntelliCAD primarily for 2D work, we have also included ACIS Solids display and viewing in this version. In addition, there are also lots of tweaks and improvements to make IntelliCAD even more compatible and easier to use. IntelliCAD 6.4 now comes with PDF and DWF exports that provides more flexible output options.
We are still maintaining the affordable pricing, at around one-tenth the price of "industry-standard" offerings. So, if you are still using earlier versions of IntelliCAD, do contact us regarding how to upgrade to this new version. Google Sketchup Pro 6 was released in January!
When we first introduced SketchUp 2.0 to the market about 5 years back, many people called it a "toy". Well, it didn't even support transparency. The "rendering" was a wee bit cartoonish. But we could see the strong potential for 3D design. We knew back then that SketchUp will be a sure winner.
Renamed, now Google SketchUp Pro 6 lets you create 3D models from photographs, match existing models to background photos, render sketchy effects and fog and mark your models with 3D text, logos and watermarks. With the new Styles palette, you have easy access to a collection of display settings, which you can save and share. You also have greater control, with new features like enhanced modifier keys that let you perform operations like copy while you move, rotate or push/pull. If you use Google Earth, Google SketchUp allows you to place your models using real-world coordinates and share them with the world using the 3D Warehouse.
If you are still using an older version of SketchUp, it's now a good time to get your upgrade. If you are using a "heavy-duty" 3D software, it's time to take a look at something that's more user-friendly, fast and a joy to use!
eBDAS 2.0 is released!
SIACAD eBDAS is an add-on module for computing Buildability Scores for your project. Since 2004, we have constantly updated our eBDAS solution to be in line with the latest requirements from the Building Construction Authority.
eBDAS 2.0 handles the requirements for 2007 and also 2008. In fact, it's so flexible now that you can even submit as-built Buildability scores for projects based on COP 2004, all the way to new submissions for 2008.
If you already have SIACAD v1.8 installed in your computer, this module will also add Building Quantities, Schedules and GFA functionalities. If you are using eBDAS 1.0 or 1.2, it's now a good time to get your upgrade.

SIACAD InfoBase is a comprehensive digital library comprising of digital drawings, specifications, images and brochures which Architects, Designers and Specifiers can use directly in their CAD drawings or Tender Specifications.
